Abstract

Objectives: In order to develop the new sealant material with bio-material, under 40 of micro-granules and 0.07g of the enamel and dentin powers added to commercial sealant and flow able Resin material. The compressive strength, adaptability and bio-compatability were measured and surface appearances were observed with SEM findings

Methods: 57 of (Small sized) cylinder type specimens as 3 of diameter and 2 of height were produced to measure the compressive strength and adaptability test, and 57 samples were applied for SEM findings, through classified as sealant with enamel, or dentin or cementum, flowable resin with the same bio-components.

Results: The height in compressive strength was proved in commercial sealant group otherwise the adaptability
was revealed as the highest in sealant with dentin powder group. Some cracks or poruses were found SEM findings in sealant group but it was decreasing tendency of them in sealant with dentin powder group.

Conclusion: Sealant with dentin group is the best for Bio-compatability and recommended it to be developed as a new Bio-material for sealant.
